The sun was out so Hubby took me to the beach to look for shells and poke around on the salt grass. There were a lot of downy feathers, spring must really be here!

With the sunlight streaming in I was able to capture the barnacles at the bottom of the tide pools with fairly good clarity. I am amazed at the little creature within. He has feathery arms that sweep the water for food.
This week I had the joy of painting on silk with a friend and the frustration of realizing I am a bit rusty...HMMM! I have not put dye on silk for a year! There is now one table in the studio with practice silk. Here is the color palette I am working with.
