First I will brag on my Hubby...
He gave me a set of salt and pepper shakers for Christmas. I accused him of cheating in the forming process by using an extruder to get the shape but they are wheel thrown and manipulated by hand. He made them to replace the acrylic ones that grace our coffee table...we eat in the living room!

When I was in Texas I ran across this tin of buttons in my moms sewing drawer...I told her I want it when she dies...She let me take it home! Mom has had this old fruitcake tin holding buttons and such for as long as I can remember.
I finished the "Inside we are all treasure" tote. It has an adjustable multicolor strap and huge abalone buttons (thanks mom!)
The best part...
The inside!
Once I got going the fabrics fell into place and I really like how it came out. It is sewn from panels using french seams so that the bag is reversible.
I may use it for that gift after all!
WOW!!!
ReplyDeleteI could say more....but WOW!!!! seems to work
Looks fabulous!!! The salt and pepper shakers are very cool!
ReplyDeleteI think those are the most beautiful s & p shakers I've ever seen! I love that they're different heights so you know which is which right away. And the bag is lovely - great combination of fabrics.
