It is done!

Aryn will be so happy that it is finally done. She will get it for her birthday and it will only be a year late!


I cut off the darkest part of the backing fabric and used it for the binding. I sewed the binding to the front, flipped it to the back, glued it in place over my original sewing line then sewed the binding from the front by stitching in the ditch. (I have no desire to hand stitch anything!) I really like the gluing..no pins and NO movement. Since it is washable glue it comes right out in the laundering. I also like the way the cotton batt crinkles the quilt up after it is washed...like an antique.
