I put the base coat on the columbine this morning. This will be a 4'x5' silk painting...maybe for a wall hanging. I spent yesterday procrastinating because I did not know how to get the center to work right. I am glad I waited because at about 4 this morning I could "see" it. Now I just have to figure out how to get the background out of my head and onto the silk!
