Playing in the sun

Yesterday we hiked into Thom's Lake. The sun was warm and the colors were Amazing.





Today I started this:

It is still wet... the colors will lighten and continue to blend a bit...then I will add another layer of darker reds in the shape of leaves.

    I think our maple is exactly that shade today........was darker yesterday......might be bald tomorrow..........
